ocean trades
Non-human people in the marine ecosystem.
ocean trades
Scientific commissioner: Unai Ormazabal. Biologist. Art Work VR: Xavier Rovira Rubiralta
In the Ocean Trades Apps we will get to know the living beings, neighbors of our ocean. We will discover the Bay of Biscay to better understand this complex and delicate marine ecosystem of the Basque Coast that is in everyone's hands to protect.
We will learn how this balance works in which each species fulfills its function. Can you imagine what job each species has? We will compare the life in society of these species (or non-human people) with that of the human species.
We will meet the net-seaming whales or the beach watch dolphins. We will understand how these beings help us balance the marine ecosystem, enjoy and defend the protection of the planet.
Atmosphere sensitive
Sustainability and respect for the environment.
Sensitive environment: a small passive house
Scientific commissioner: Amaia Galparsoro. Architect. Artistic curator: Paul Lataburu. Artist and Director Arteuparte. Art Work VR: Xavier Rovira Rubiralta Collaborators: Belen Diaz, Irina Pavlova and Sara Zamarro. Artists.
In the Sensitive Environment Apps, we will learn how to build from sustainability and respect for the environment.
To do this, we will see new ways of making the transition between big cities and the countryside through the so-called green rings, with Vitoria as a universal model. On another scale, we will also learn about Passive Houses, a new way of creating sustainable buildings that hardly need energy to create the minimum impact on our environment.
Illustration, srigraphy and painting are present in our small passive house, thanks to the works of art by Belen Diaz, Irina Pavlova and Sara Zamarro.
Sensations seasonal
Do you know what ethnobotany is?
seasonal sensations
Scientific commissioner: Iñigo Segurola. Landscape architect. Art Work VR: Xavier Rovira Rubiralta.
Do you know what ethnobotany is? In the Seasonal Sensations Apps program we will discover the study of edible foods that we can find in a forest in the Basque Country, such as flowers, plants, mushrooms... to reconnect with nature.
We will explain the extraordinary animal and mineral life, the types of vegetation and the climatic effects thanks to which the cycle of life and transformation is generated, to learn to be a little more ethnobotanical...
