The world of creativity: from crafts to art and design.
Traditional artisan trades with the passage of time, industrialization and postmodernism have undergone important transformations, and have progressively adapted to the new sociocultural context.
The world of the everyday, useful object, as defended by the utopian William Morris (1834-1896), or the Japanese master Soetsu Yanagi (1889-1961), had to be beautiful, if he wanted to be honest. Beauty and utility coincide in the simple and the practical, in everyday objects, both products of traditional artisan production and contemporary design.
Nowadays, the link between craftsmanship and design is increasingly closer: Artisans incorporate design into their creations to improve them, and designers learn from craftsmanship to provide their creations with more sustainable materials and shapes.

The sincerity of natural materials
This fact leads us to reflect on the value of the object and its impact on our lives: the taste for simple and well-made objects, the sincerity of natural materials, the affection for everyday objects that accompany us throughout our lives, education in beauty through close and simple objects, learning to appreciate beauty of simplicity and respect for tradition...
